Head of AMR Training and Development is Mrs Anne Rae M.Ed Dip CE Dip RE
Anne trained as a Primary Teacher, successfully gaining the Diploma in Primary Teaching and a Diploma in the Teaching of Religious Education. She was a practising Primary teacher for almost 30 years, with a 6 year career break, until 1999. She worked in Primary and Special education, and was a manager for 7 of those years. She spent 4 years studying part time for the Degree of Master of Education, and later went on to complete
a post graduate certificate in environmental
studies and the Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education P3-P7 studies.
After moving into Further Education, she has worked as lecturer and assessor in a wide spectrum of childcare subjects for SVQ3, GSVQ3, NC, HNC and PDA Certificate for Classroom Assistants. She has undertaken lecturing and development work in the areas of:
- Promoting Positive Behaviour

Supporting the Class Teacher

Supporting the Well being of Pupils

Child Development

Basic Needs of Children
- Children & Young People with special Needs

Effective Organisation & Use of Resources

Promoting Play
Anne works as an External Verifier for the SQA and as a Classroom Observer for Protocol Professional.
Initially, Anne will have responsibility for all teaching and assessing work for the Company, but this is subject to review if there is an increase in workload and Client demand.
She is fully committed to her own professional development and will continue to attend seminars, conferences etc to keep abreast of developments in education in the broad context.
